Affiliate links. Links to retailers carry a tracking parameter identifying us as the referrer, so a purchase can be credited to this site. The retailer, not us, sees what you go on to buy. We never receive your name, address, or payment details.

Email. If you email us, we keep the message so we can reply and, where relevant, correct a guide. We do not add you to a mailing list.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not require an account. We do not run a newsletter sign-up that quietly subscribes you to anything else. We do not use your email for marketing.

Your choices

You can block cookies in your browser, use an ad blocker, or opt out of personalised advertising at the link above — the site works either way. If you would like us to delete an email exchange, ask and we will.

Children

This site is intended for adults buying tools and materials, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
