If you have never sealed a deck before, Ready Seal is nearly as durable and far harder to apply badly. For water-based, DEFY Extreme holds color better than anything else in that category.
The finding that matters most, though, is about pigment, not brand: clear sealers cannot stop UV, and UV is what destroys the surface first. Choose at least a light tint, apply thin coats to dry wood, and use the water-bead test rather than a calendar to decide when to recoat.
